POSTPARTUM DOULA SERVICES

Postpartum doulas are there to support mother, baby, and the rest of the family. Visits are typically three hours each, during which the doula can help the family with a number of tasks, including meal preparation, infant care and feeding support, physical help for the healing mother, emotional support for both parents, and sibling integration.

In addition to postpartum visits, the doula will meet with parents at least once prenatally to discuss a range of topics that will impact your postpartum experience, including your birth plan details, postpartum visits from friends and family, baby supply selection and use instruction, frozen meal preparation, and meal train organization for dad and siblings.

You will also be given prenatal access to Hera Be Well’s referral network and resource library. We will make sure you feel prepared for the baby’s arrival and supported thereafter so you can focus on bonding as a family.
